According to a recent Staff Report by the Committee on Oversight and Reform, separated children have been in federal custody longer than previously reported – about 680 were detained for 46 to 75 days, over 50 from six months to a year, and more than 25 for more than a year. This means that this year, many children will be spending this holiday season without their parents in immigration centers. We feel this is very sad and would like to let these kids know that soon everything will be alright. The administration is working as hard as they can to get these families back together. Meanwhile, charity organizations have set up gift distribution for all of the children and have raised over $85,000 to help make this Christmas a bit more enjoyable for these kids. Thank you America
